In the surveillance domain, a managed service often takes the form of Video Surveillance as a Service (VSaaS), where the provider manages the network of security cameras, the video recording and storage infrastructure (often in the cloud), and the video management software (VMS), providing a complete, outsourced security monitoring solution.
